Nice board book for little hands. We used this book for both of our kids and they loved looking at the pictures of the kids signing and easily picked up the signs themselves. We continue to buy copies of this book to give as baby gifts.

We used this book in teaching my son sign language and he was able to see the picture and mimic the signs all on his own. We used it as a guide and then realized he was teaching it to himself just as effectively as we were just in "reading" this book with him. Highly recommend this book and teaching/using sign language starting at about 9 months old. It helped with communicating during difficult baby stages. Our son had many less temper tantrums than other kids his age and we believe it was due to teaching sign language. The sign we highly recommend is teaching the "help" sign. Whenever he would get frustrated he would sign for help and he would know we would do the best to figure out what he needed.

Found this book at the home of a child with a tracheostomy and ordered it for my neighbor who waspicking up her adopted twins from Bosnia. They took the book with them and it helped the non english speaking children adjust to coming to america.

The book is easy to use, has many great starting signs, and is made of durable cardboard. Haven't used it much but my son is only 8 months old and I don't want to overload him (or us!)

This book has been great to teach me how to teach my baby to sign.

I already owned this book for my son, who has a hearing loss, when he was a baby and decided to buy it as a 1st birthday gift for a friend's child. Book is perfect for looking at with your babies of any age to teach them basic American Sign Language. The pictures are colorful and include a child or person demonstrating the sign, as well as the written word and description of the motion. Great book for children! All of the books in this series are wonderful.

If you buy this book then you are pretty much admitting to yourself that you are a person who has some kind of sexual addiction. Most of this book is geared towards the person with the addiction, but it does address the co-dependent. She doesn't mince any words and addresses all kinds of addiction. I found this book exremely helpful and gave me much to think about. One thing to keep in mind if you have an addiction is that there is no simple bandaid on this problem and requires much effort towards healing and remaining healed. I love that a woman wrote it for women. Know this: MANY woman have some kind of addiction and don't know where to turn to for help. Society seems to associate addiction as a male problem, but that is simply NOT true.

A must read for any woman who has struggled with lust; very well written, packed full of insight, revelation, and understanding. One of the BEST books on female sexuality that I've read.

Found this book extremely insightful in delving inside the mind of a female sex addict. Gave my wife and I the tools we need for recovery for both the addict as well as for the partner of a sex addict. Was honest enough to describe the role played by the codependent, the family dynamics and describes the causes of both dysfunctions, and more importantly, the proven solutions.I enjoyed the writing style of the author who draws from her own experiences and describes in vivid and graphic detail unforgettable lessons to live by. I started off being very judgmental, hopeless and angry; and ended up becoming very sympathetic to this addiction and hopeful of a happy ending in our own marriage.

This book changed my life. I will buy 1 just to keep on hand to place in someone's hand who needs it. It took me over a year to finish this book since I read it as I could handle the tremendous information presented in it. I recommend this book for addicts and co addicts.

I was raised in a home that lived according Christian values and we went to church every week. My experience was both wonderful and flawed simultaneously. Issues such as women and sexuality were very poorly discussed and articulated in a way that lead to confusion for myself and other friends growing up in the church. This book is a valuable resource that integrates the complexity of sexual addiction with the hope of the Gospel in a way that is not trite, simplistic, or demeaning for that matter. I am very encouraged to have such an informative and healing resource on the topic of sexual addiction for women; I pray that this book is simply a beginning to more holistic conversations on women's sexuality in and out of the church.

This book answers questions about women and sexual addiction. Very helpful information if you are or counsel women who are trying to break free. It's about time the church broke out of their bush zone.

This related on every level to my understanding of the disease and more so to my journey. It is relieving to see someone else tell it because I feel less alone and ironically, knowing it isn’t so uncommon, as I’d like to believe, is comforting. There seems to be less shame when someone else can say “me too”.

Helped me understand a few things from my sons point of view and helped me thru a difficult transition. I am now referring back to it and the information on scholarships for my daughter who will be leaving next fall. Great book for any parent with a child going off to college.

Great read. Just get it. My only child was preparing to leave for college and his university recommended the student version of this so I bought it here and saw this one. Very easy, fun but incredibly informative read. Makes you laugh while you realize you really did need the little tips and recommendations. Super informative but fun and easy to read here and there a few mins at a time. Definitely helped me in the transition.

Great book for parent's with children just heading off to college. It has practical advice for parents from students that have been in school. It covers subjects that I had not even thought of yet when I was reading the book. Interesting funny and helpful

The Naked Roommate has been a great resource helping me to understand my feelings and my son's feelings. It has educated me with ways to handle issues that come up through the college process. This is a good book for anyone who has a son or daughter leaving home to go to college.

I bought this for a mother of a very close friend of mine (I am as close with the mother as I am with the friend) who is graduating high school and preparing for college. I also purchased the Naked Roommate and 107 other things you may encounter at college as a graduation for my friend. I purchased this book in the hopes that it would help me to interact with a couple who had been visiting my family. Unfortunately, the benefits of this book may be only for those who have a good understanding of the history and doctrines of the Jehovah's Witnesses already.Basically the book is a collection of photocopied primary sources from newspapers, articles in JW publications, etc. that the authors have marked up and annotated in order to demonstrate contradictions in JW beliefs. About the only useful portion of the book for me was a chart that marked out the various names of God, their connection to Christ, and the passages from Scripture where they are found.If you are interested in speaking more directly and faithfully to a Jehovah's Witness, a better approach than mine would probably be to purchase or find a copy of their little book that presents arguments from the Scriptures. At least that way you could be prepared for how they argue from Scripture, and how they respond to arguments that present problems for their views.

This book is actually a series of questions for J.W.s to answer using watchtower material (a method they should be used to, because that is how they become indoctrinated by the Watchtower). The questions are provided by Bill and Joan Cetnar. They have included photographs of themselves at Bethel, and personal notes and testimony. This book is worth it just for the Watchtower articles.

Alex explains that this isn’t a book specifically about marketing but, human nature and I think she hit it right on the nail. I highly recommend this to anyone who wants to understand why they get goosebumps and feel moved as well as to the creatives who want to connect with their audience more. Alex’s tone is intelligent, funny, strong, and approachable. You don’t feel like you’re being talked at but rather, talked with -- there is vulnerability and honesty. It feels like you're in a Brooklyn café talking to her about the mystery and allure of resonance. Her words are unfiltered and clear yet striking. This is a real treat for your soul!

I’m 28 and have always acknowledged I had “artist traits” but after reading this book I admit I’m just down to my bones an artist. I published my first book 2 years ago and after being frustrated with outline I started over and typed the entire thing in a week. I used to think the urgency came from launching my book around me birthday to get more sales, around Thanksgiving where people would be around family and share the launch; but I wrote it and published it in a week because the artist in me wouldn’t allow me to go another week without sharing me story. From the moment I picked up, “Resonate.” I found myself lacking the willpower to put it down. It had me laughing and nodding throughout as if Alex Wolf and I we were having an actual tabletop conversation, with her teaching so much from the stories she tells subsequently creating a true readers experience. Alex Wolf RESONATES with her readers using a certain mastery that only she can express so eloquently. She does an excellent job of breaking down the human condition and explaining it universal terms, all while guiding us down a path towards becoming better human brands and human beings.
