Great fictional book...I bought it for my nephew

Mikasa being effectively the point-of-view character over Eren does make the book more heroic, but aside from a major twist at the end of volume 2, most of this comic doesn't really give you any new information as to workings of the story's world except that one discovers through Mikasa's backstory that their has effectively been racial purification in the world and that this is set in a world with our geography. Meaning that lack of technology is because of a decline in technology, not just a different development. Mikasa's stoicism is compelling as is her admiration of Eren's passion, but sometimes pages after page of battle starts to get a little tedious as the art isn't actually extremely compelling in action and that is where some of the weaknesses of style show up.

I first started watching the anime on the Crunchyroll website and it drew me in as soon as I started watching. The manga is just as good. The art style is similar to that of Uzumaki and is a very beautiful pair with the story of this series. The writer is a genius, finding a way to create major cliffhangers between volumes and transition between story arcs very smoothly. There are some things I'm dying to find out about this series, but I'll settle with what I know for now. No complaints about this piece whatsoever. It is very beautiful and smart. And for the price it is running at, totally worth it. Remember to pay for the book instead of reading it somewhere else for free, the geniuses behind this story deserve what they can get. Ten outta ten.

I never liked manga or any anime. I've never seen or read one in my entire life.Attack on Titan blew my mind, however. Hands down the best entertainment I've ever seen in the last three years (I'm comparing this to all the other TV series, novels, movies I've seen). A solid 5/5. I wholeheartedly recommend this title to anyone.

The world is a dark place and human beings are on the verge of extinction. The new recruits are put to the test to get the citizens out of the town because of the titan invasion, but can they succeed. Story: The story is much darker this time. There is a lot of action in this volume, so if you like that kind of stuff your going to love this one. We get a flash back on Eren and Mikasa and we learn how they meet. Also their is a new ally that shows up for the recruits who is extremely powerful, but I won't spoil who it is. 3/3.Character development: There is a ton of character development on Mikasa and Eren especially with the flashback and that answer some questions that I have been wondering about. Also a strong character is introduced in this volume who is awesome. 4/4.Artwork: The artwork is just as good as last time if not better in my opinion. 3/3.Overall, I highly recommend this series and please give it a read you won't regret it.10/10

After the shocking end of volume 1, I was wondering where the series would go after that. After reading volume 2, I'm pleased to say it didn't disappoint. This volume is mostly action, and focuses on Mikasa. Although it is an action oriented volume, there's a chapter dedicated to the backstory of Mikasa and her relation to Eren. Mikasa also gets some nice development, and she even has an unexpected moment of weakness. Armin gets a bit of development, and we get to see one of his brilliant plans.Towards the middle of the book, a new titan is introduced. Instead of killing everybody though, it instead mercilessly pummels the other titans. This is interesting, since we don't know the extent of the titan's intelligence, motives, or goals, so it's nice to see a curveball. Speakimg of curveballs, there's another shocking twist about the identity of this new titan.Overall, this is a fantastic volume. The artwork is spot-on, and there's a lot of character and story development. Attack On Titan is shaping up to be one of the best manga I've read; And this is why I give this volume 5 stars.

Going into it, I liked the first volume but it all depended on volume two if I was to keep reading it. Needless to say, It blew volume one out of the water and in the best way possible. Once again ending in a way that made me want to immediately buy volume three. *sigh* I have to save up my money.

Attack on Titan is such a strong story, it has to be exploited in a way that there is both key character developement and heavily brutal action sequences. This chapter in particular answers many questions and still leaves some things a mystery. If you have been following this story from the beginning this a chapter you do not want to miss. It adds so much more to the action in an interesting way and puts a lot of effort into revealing the secrets of a few characters we didn't really know much about until now. It definately does not hold back.

I'm not going to go into much detail about the contents because, well..spoilers. Lots of them. I will say that this volume is seriously one of the best. You find out a ton of stuff in chapter 43. If you're looking to buy Attack on Titan 11 you better prepare your feels, your tissues, and get some soundproof walls because it gets intense! I definitely recommend this to all aot fans who want to read on the go or don't have room for the physical book. The images are just as high quality and the translating is great despite some errors along the way but nothing that you won't be able to figure out. Anyway that's my review lol this is my first ever review on Amazon. So proud :')
