exactly what I was looking for! only suggestion would be to include example information sets to try these processes on.
Dummies books are, and always have been my go-to resources for all things Microsoft Office. They are written in a very direct, and often humorous manner, and contain numerous "screen shots". This Dummies book will eliminate the need to take costly classes.I'm a pretty advanced at Excel, and use it quite a bit in my line of work, which is Business Intelligence. This book contains all the advanced formulas and functions to take my spreadsheets to the next level. I keep it on hand in my office to refer to.
Wanted something to use as an easy reference book while I'm learning formulas in Excel. I'm disappointed with this book. I use Excel 2016 and none of the newer formulas that I am learning are in it. My fault probably for not thoroughly reading the description. I'll keep the book as it's not worth the hassle to return it.
I had this book in the past and it got left behind in my move, so I had to purchase it again. I like to color tab the formulas that I like to use. I highly recommend this book to people who use excel a lot. Formulas just make life so much easier.
I'm sorry, I never give one star ratings but this book was disappointing. It is basic, basic only. If you already know how to SUM, AVERAGE, COUNT, SUMIF and COUNTIF, there is very little more to interest you here. Even the cheat sheet that is on the dummies.com web site has only 19 functions listed and again, only the most basic ones. Perhaps I expected an encyclopedia, but this falls far short of anything like that. I did, however, find a different outstanding book on formulas and functions. My advice is shop around and read the reviews to get what you want.
This book has helped me master some excel shortcuts and functions for easy of worksheet interaction and navigation! Definitely recommend the whole series!
